I had gone back to doing event security but after working an all ages dance that was sold out and way over capacity resulting in a confrontation I decided it was time for a change.. I'm also in the midst of various police interviews.. And as filler volunteer work and lots of sports as they are my one drug in life

Working security at an all ages dance would make me hate life for a few hours. Bleh. I suppose that's bad to say because I used to be a teacher and would chaperone those things all the time. Maybe that's why I can say with conviction that I hate dances.

Hey, at least you're filling your time with something useful like volunteer work! Hopefully something different happens for you in terms of your career. You seem like a smart lad, so I'm sure that will happen for you soon.

Oh, I'm super; thanks. Life always has its ups and downs, but I'm tryin' to roll wit it. My life consists of:
-Eating too much sushi and constantly monitoring myself to make sure I don't go Mad Hatter from too much mercury
-Working lots, as always
-Pretending to be a bon vivant
-Dating here and there
-Actually reading for pleasure when I get the chance instead of just for my job
-Taking lots of walks
-Drinking too much wine
-Spending more time with the fam (I have some really rad nieces and nephews and have also been spending way more time with gramma since she's been sick).
-Going to concerts, taking small little weekend trips to keep any semblance of sanity.

Do you still hang out at DA? You're modding it up over there, right?

Sounds like you are enjoying life :) I'm very glad to hear it! And yes I'm still quite active at DA and moderating there, much to the chagrin of DickTator, Powerboss and Caddis who all hate me guts.. but you know what that's telling me i'm doing at least a few things right.
